Artificial Calathea Rosa

Calathea is a very popular indoor plant species and the Corona is a favourite.  The large green leaves have feathered brush strokes of cream with the occasional touch of pink or rose red.  The reverse side is a rich burgundy colour.   Calathea Corona is one of our most realistic plants. At first glance it’s impossible to tell from the real thing.

Most effective when mass planted around larger trees like palms or ficus in atriums, malls and commercial spaces.  They also look great in troughs or doubled up in a pot.

Potting your plant
1. Place a plastic bag in your pot and fill with sand to about 20mm from the top of the pot.
2. Push the plant stem into the sand
3. Tie off the bag at the top of the stem with a cable tie.
4. Trim excess plastic above the tie.
5. Fill the remaining 20mm of space from the top of the pot with decorative stones or other material.
